Estonian Hound provisionally recognized breed of FCI

On 04.09.2019 FCI General Committee approved Estonian Hound as FCI provisionally recognized breed. After official confirmation Estonian Hounds can be entered to shows in all FCI member countries, as well as compete in Group 6 at International Dog Show finals.
2019 is the Jubileum year for Estonian cynology. First official breed standard for Estonian Hound was confirmed 65 years ago and Estonian Kennel Union celebrates its 30th anniversary – the news couldn’t have come at a more suitable time. Happy Celebrations!
